Hima falls
Highlights
Overview
Hima Falls is a serene, natural waterfall nestled deep within the dense Ghoom Pahar Forest, roughly 13–15 km from Darjeeling town. Often described as a "hidden gem," it is significantly quieter than more commercial falls like Rock Garden. The water cascades from a great height over rocky terrain, crossing under a picturesque bridge that is popular for photography. It is a favoured spot for local picnickers and birdwatchers who come to see Himalayan species like the Scarlet Minivet and various thrushes.
