Batasia Loop is a spiral railway track built in 1919 to help the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train) negotiate a steep descent of 1,000 feet. Located 5 km from Darjeeling town, it offers a manicured garden, a Gorkha War Memorial, and breathtaking 360-degree views of Mt. Kanchenjunga. It is an engineering masterpiece and a tribute to brave soldiers.
