Overview

Tashi View Point, located approximately 8 km from Gangtok along the North Sikkim Highway, was built by the late King of Sikkim, Tashi Namgyal. It is renowned for offering the closest and most unobstructed panoramic views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt. Siniolchu. On clear days, visitors can spot the Labrang and Phodong monasteries nestled in the distant lush green valleys. The site features a circular viewing platform, a resting shed, and a small park, making it a peaceful sanctuary for nature lovers and photographers away from the city's bustle.
